We use the best materials and techniques in the industry. Here is some info on our materials and how we install roofs in todays age. All photos and videos on this site our from our actual customers projects. Photos Taken by our project manager.
01
Tear down to decking
We always tear down to the decking on all projects. Inspect the decking for any rot or damage. Replace any that's bad. We offer a fortified roofing install where we install tape along all decking seams and re-nail the decking. Ask your rep about our fortified roofing upgrade.

Ice and Water membrane
02
We apply Heavy duty ice and water shield directly to the decking. In the valleys, around transitional flashings and all roof protrusions ( Box vent holes, pipe jacks, flu's). This helps prevent a leak should water get under valley metals in the event of ice damming. In certain county's, we apply ice and water shield on all eaves of the home (The area above all gutters)

Felt paper
After ice and water shield. We Go back on the decking with synthetic high Grade felt.
We also offer old school tar paper or organic felt both
15# and 30#

04
New Drip Edge and Rake protection
We use D style Drip edge on all rakes. This drip edge is designed with a 1 1/4 inch protrusion. allowing us to perfectly overlap the shingles 1 1/4 over all edges of the home. This is essential part of installing a roof properly. On the eaves we go back with large Gutter apron. All metal edges come pre painted for your desired look.

05
Change all ventilation and jacks/Flashings
We replace all box vents, pipe jacks and any step flashing and for additional charges chimney caps/ flashing and furnace flus

06

Universal Starter
We use universal starter on our eaves for the first row of shingles to adhere.

Shingle installation
We Install our shingles to each specific shingle manufacturer guidelines. this typically involves a stair step pattern with roughly 4-6 inches separating the steps. As-well as a specific nailing pattern that keeps nails away from the shingle seams so no nail leaks may occur. This is less of a worry on steep roofs. but if you have a low slope roof. improper nail placement can lead to leaks. Not a matter of if, but when. We have our project manager on all sites to ensure quality installations
